Making Britain an attractive place to do business will be key post Brexit. International investors have choices and putting a proposal together as to why investors should be in Britain post Brexit is a critical Government initiative.
The UK's progressive tax regime is already yielding benefits as companies seeking shelters/ havens assess that those havens may not be as attractive as before.
The City of London speaks for itself but a regional strategy utilising the concepts of the northern powerhouse needs to be pursued as well. For the UK to be a success post Brexit all parts of the country will need to support via transport links, schooling and strong manufacturing hubs
Whether the Government can get there and maintain an attractive fiscal and liberal economy will require a significant balancing action, we need a steady hand going into 2017.
