This post is about markets, not morals. Markets need considered policies. Policies that are evidence-based, even-handed and transparently applied.
Companies can plan for such policies. Planning that helps their employees, shareholders, and the whole economy. All politicians must remember the real economy when they implement their mandates.
Even if people voted for a policy, they don't want it rushed in, straight from the back of a burger menu, to roil the world's trading system. Nobody voted to get poorer and more stressed.
